Press Mould Plate Making

Explore the art of plate making in this hands-on class, where you’ll learn how to use press mould techniques to create your own beautifully formed ceramic plates.

In this 2-hour session, you will be guided through the process of shaping clay using moulds, combined with hand-building techniques to refine and personalise your piece.

Option session: underglaze design
If you’d like to create your own unique designs with underglaze, you’re welcome to return once your pieces have completed bisque firing. You can book a studio access session to decorate your work using our range of underglaze colours. The session includes full use of underglaze colours, and a clear glaze will be professionally applied by our studio before the final firing. Or you can choose from our wonderful selection of 30+ glazes, we will apply the glaze for you.

Your final piece will be ready for collection approximately 3 weeks after your glazing session.
